Reception of the children's jury of the SCHLINGEL film festival

Invitation to the photo session: on 11 October, 1 p.m., in the town hall, Grüner Salon

On Tuesday, 11 October at 1 pm, Mayor Ralph Burghart will welcome the European Children's Jury of the SCHLINGEL International Film Festival in the Green Salon of the Town Hall.

After the official welcome, the young guests are invited to a children's buffet and informal discussions. A tour guide will then take them on a tour of the town hall and the High Tower.

Media representatives are cordially invited to attend.

This year, the 14 members of the children's jury, aged between eleven and twelve, come from Austria, Poland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany.
The working language of the jury is German, as all the children come from German schools or organisations that promote the German mother tongue.

The jury selects the best international children's film after 13 film viewings and the corresponding discussion rounds. The prize is organised by the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism.

Outside the cinema, the children will be able to visit the town hall, enjoy a barbecue afternoon and visit a trampoline park.
