On Monday, 28 September, at 3.00 pm, track and field athlete Rebekka Haase will sign the City of Chemnitz’s Golden Book of Sport in the presence of Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky.
Media representatives are invited to attend. The ceremony will take place in the Green Salon at the Town Hall, Markt 1.
Rebekka Haase won silver in the mixed sprint relay at the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, England. In recognition of this sporting achievement, she is being honoured with an entry in the Golden Book of Sport.
Those in attendance will include, amongst others, Rebekka Haase’s coach Jörg Möckel, as well as representatives from the Olympic Training Centre and the Chemnitz City Sports Association.
