Rare events 2022
Organisers can submit applications until 31 August
14 "rare events" are planned for Chemnitz city centre each year. This was decided by the city council in 2007 and 2011 (B-165/2007 and B-165/2011). "Rare events" are events that are expected to be particularly loud and/or end after 10 pm.
Organisers can apply in writing for their planned "rare events" for 2022 by 31 August 2021 at the latest. As in previous years, an advisory board made up of representatives from the administration, the CWE and the city council's political groups will then decide whether an event should be categorised as a "Rare Event" and will subsequently provide information about this.
Organisers can submit an informal application to the City of Chemnitz, Ordnungsamt, Abt. Gewerbe, Veranstaltungen, Märkte, 09111 Chemnitz or by email tomarktwesen(at)stadt-chemnitz.de.
