Public presentation of the election results
On 26 September from 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, Town Hall (admission from 5 p.m.)
On Sunday, 26 September, from 6 p.m., the provisional election results of the Bundestag election will be presented to the public in the City Council Chamber of Chemnitz City Hall.
As in previous elections, interested citizens, media representatives and representatives of parties and voter associations will be able to follow the election results of the 193 Chemnitz general and postal ballot boards live on a large projection screen from 6 pm. Admission begins at 5 pm.
In the town hall, it is compulsory to wear a face mask and to leave personal data for contact tracing.
In order to avoid waiting times for access to the presentation, all visitors are asked to fill out the contact details registration form provided at www.chemnitz.de/bundestagswahl in advance. This must be handed in on the way to the City Council Chamber (2nd floor, access via main entrance) in the foyer on the ground floor. However, if the room capacity in the town hall is fully utilised, a pre-completed form does not entitle the voter to access.
At the same time, the provisional election results will also be published on the City of Chemnitz website at www.chemnitz.de.
