Public parents' evening on media literacy for children
The daycare centres in the Kaßberg and Altendorf districts invite all parents and interested parties to a parents' evening followed by a Q&A session on media literacy in children with Olav Schwarz: Media competence in children with Olav Schwarz.
The psychologist, educationalist, conversation and behavioural therapist will address the following questions:
Which media is suitable for which age?
How much media does a child need?
What role does the example set by parents and carers play in the acquisition of media skills?
Who benefits from our children's media consumption?
How can parents and carers support and positively influence media use?
The parents' evening will take place on 5 April 2016 at 7.30 pm at "Haus Kraftwerk", Kaßbergstraße 36. Admission is free for parents of daycare centres in the Kaßberg and Altendorf districts. Parents can collect their tickets from their daycare centres.
For all other parents and interested guests, admission costs 2 euros.
