Public order office confiscates dogs
Meadow plot on the Sonnenberg is no longer a dog meadow
Two dangerous dogs were confiscated this afternoon in a joint operation by the police and the public order office on the Sonnenberg. Both dogs had recently attracted attention by biting passers-by.
The dogs were located close to a day care centre, so urgent action was required. With the active support of the police, it was possible to gain entry to the house where the dog owner was staying with the dogs.
After an employee of the public order office ordered the confiscation, both dogs were handed over to the animal shelter. Proceedings were initiated against the owner.
The meadow adjacent to the daycare centre, which was previously allowed to be used as a dog meadow, has been declared a "normal" meadow again by GGG, the owner of the property. The signs have already been removed.
