Public authority number 115 replaces various numbers of the Chemnitz city administration
From now on, Chemnitz residents will only need to remember 115 for telephone information on the services of the vehicle registration authority, the registration office, to view the building file archive and for housing benefit. The authority number 115 thus replaces the previous telephone numbers for these areas.
The 115 is the direct line to the public administration for citizens' enquiries. It does not matter which specific authority or office is responsible for the enquiry.
Irrespective of the office hours of the authorities, 115 can be reached from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. without a dialling code from a landline or mobile phone.
Callers from areas that have not yet joined 115 should dial 0371/115.
