Public auction of found bicycles for European Mobility Week
Customs auction until 25 September
First, second and third: To mark European Mobility Week, the Chemnitz lost property office is once again auctioning off various bicycles via customs auction whose storage period has expired and for which no ownership claims have been asserted.
These include an e-scooter, 25 mountain bikes, three trekking bikes, eleven city bikes, a cross bike, four racing bikes, a children's bike and two sets of bicycles.
Interested parties can find the bikes at www.zoll-auktion.de under the heading "Bikes & accessories". Users can easily view the found bikes and try their luck at bidding if necessary. The items on offer can only be viewed via the above Internet address. It is not possible to view the items in person during the entire auction.
Bidders cannot expect new items. The bicycles are described in detail, flaws are explicitly pointed out and informative photos are included. In many cases, minor or major repairs are necessary.
Please note that items can only be auctioned if you have previously registered with Zoll-Auktion (via the Register button in the top right-hand corner). After successful registration, it is possible to take part in the auction. The internet platform also offers the option of placing items on a watch list so that you do not miss out on how high the desired item is trading and how many other bidders are already interested in it.
The auctions end on Sunday, 25 September, between 5 pm and 6 pm.
As always with lost property auctions, the following applies: items are auctioned as seen (in photos), no guarantee is given and exchanges are not possible.
Bicycles purchased at auction can only be collected by appointment. The municipal lost property office will contact the highest bidder after the end of the auction. The bikes are handed over at the lost property office and the amount is paid in cash or by EC card.
If you have any questions about the auctions, please contact the authorities on 115.
