Public auction of found bicycles

Bidding is possible online at the customs auction until 21 June

Firstly, secondly, thirdly: The Chemnitz lost property office is currently auctioning off various bicycles whose storage period has expired and for which no ownership claims have been asserted at Zoll-Auktion, the official auction house of the federal, state and local governments.

These include 18 mountain bikes, five city bikes, three children's bikes, two trekking bikes, one men's bike and three women's bikes.

Interested parties can find the bicycles on Zoll-Auktion Stadt Chemnitz under the heading "Bicycles & Accessories". Users can view the found bicycles and try their luck at bidding if necessary. The items on offer can only be viewed at the above Internet address. It is not possible to view the items in person during the entire auction.
The auctions will end on 21 June between 5 and 5.30 pm.

Bidders cannot expect new items. The bikes are described in detail, faults are explicitly pointed out and informative photos are included. In many cases, minor or even major repairs are required.

As always with lost property auctions, the following applies: Bikes are auctioned as seen (in photos), no guarantee is given and exchanges are not possible. Bicycles purchased at auction can only be collected by appointment. The municipal lost property office will contact the highest bidder after the end of the auction and the amount will be paid by bank transfer before collection.

Please note that it is necessary to register with Zoll-Auktion before participating. The internet platform also offers the option of placing items on a watch list so that you can track how high the desired item is trading and how many interested parties are participating.

If you have any questions, you can contact the public authority telephone number 115.
