Public auction of 140 lost property items
Date 25 October, 3 p.m., Bürgerhaus am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz 1
The next auction of lost property will take place on Friday, 25 October, from 3 pm in the Bürgerhaus am Wall (Düsseldorfer Platz 1). The meeting point is in the foyer of the town hall on the first floor of the building. Interested parties can view the items there as usual from 2.30 pm onwards.
Among the items to be auctioned are mobile phones. A total of 140 items will go under the hammer, including clothing for adults and children. In keeping with the season, winter gloves, hats and warm jackets as well as ice skates and a snowboard will be auctioned off this time.
Handbags and sports bags, books, watches and toys, cameras, Playstation games, CDs, MP3 players, USB sticks, football boots, a toolbox, a calculator and a printer are also expected to find new owners.Four surprise packages will also be auctioned off, with starting bids of one euro for the mobile phones and between one and 15 euros for the other lost property.
Please note: Lost property can only be purchased for cash during the auction. 200-euro and 500-euro notes will not be accepted.
Staff at the municipal lost property office, located at Düsseldorfer Platz 1, or by dialling 115 will answer any questions about the auction.
