Proposed resolution on Chemnitzer FC must be discussed again by the city council
State Directorate intends to object to the City Council's resolution of 16 December 2016
The City of Chemnitz has been informed that the State Directorate of Saxony intends to object to resolution B-301/2016 "Amendment of the contractual relationship with Chemnitzer Fußballclub e. V. and CFC Marketing und Stadionbetrieb GmbH", which was passed by a large majority of the Chemnitz City Council on 16 December 2016, due to the bias of a city councillor. The city has taken a different position.
However, in order to avoid the "bad impression" that municipal decision-makers are guided by extraneous motives, resolution B-301/2016 will be put back on the City Council's agenda as soon as possible. There are no objections to the content of the resolution.
