Project: Bridge for foreign academics
City of Chemnitz welcomes project participants to the town hall
One of the aims of PROFIL Bildungsgesellschaft mbH is to pave the way for foreign skilled workers to find qualified employment in the German labour market. In the "Bridge for Academics in Chemnitz" project, immigrants with an academic degree obtained abroad receive specialised training and job-related language training. In addition, the participants are encouraged to familiarise themselves with their new environment.
For this reason, the municipal EU office will be welcoming eight migrants next Thursday, 10 March 2016,

The economists, engineers and computer scientists from Russia, Syria, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Thailand will be accompanied by Andreas Götze from PROFIL Bildungsgesellschaft mbH. The project is part of the "Integration through Qualification (IQ)" programme and receives funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Labour and the European Social Fund. In addition to language skills, computer, construction and business administration skills are taught in six-month courses that are individually tailored to each participant.
