Programme booklet for the autumn/winter semester of the adult education centre available from 15 August 2016
Office open again after the semester break from 8 August 2016
On Monday, 15 August 2016, Chemnitz Adult Education Centre will publish its programme for the autumn/winter semester 2016/2017, which includes more than 800 courses, workshops and events from the fields of society, culture, languages and careers. It is available to take away free of charge from the TIETZ, Chemnitz offices and authorities, savings banks, bookshops, libraries and many other places in Chemnitz. Registrations can be submitted in person, in writing, by telephone, by e-mail, by fax or directly on the VHS website at www.vhs-chemnitz.de. The course starts on Monday, 5 September 2016.
The Adult Education Centre office will be open again from Monday, 8 August 2016. Service hours at the counter are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm and Mondays and Thursdays from 2 pm to 6 pm. The adult education centre is closed on Wednesdays.
In the autumn/winter semester 2016/2017, the programme focuses on languages and integration with quick courses for simple communication with refugees, a series of events in the field of political education on the presidential election in the USA and a supporting programme for the special exhibition "Rock Fossils" at the Chemnitz Museum of Natural History.
