Prizewinners' concert - listen to top marks!
Sunday, 12 March, 4 pm, Chemnitz Music School
At the prizewinners' concert on Sunday, 12 March 2017, 4 p.m., in the concert hall of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, Gerichtsstraße 1, 09112 Chemnitz, the youngest prizewinners and some nominated musicians from the state competition will present their skills. Admission to the prizewinners' concert is free.
Background:
From 20 to 22 January 2017, young musicians performed in Chemnitz, Annaberg and Flöha in the categories piano solo, drumset solo, vocal solo, accordion chamber music, string instrument ensembles and wind instrument ensembles as part of the 26th regional "Jugend musiziert" competition. The juries were impressed by the confident performances of all participants. Out of a total of 161 participants, 69 students managed to qualify for the 2017 state competition in Bautzen.
