Prizewinners' concert for the regional Jugend musiziert competition

On Saturday, 11 March at 4 pm, music lovers are invited to a concert by the winners of the regional Jugend musiziert competition in the concert hall of the Municipal Music School. Admission is free of charge.
Talented music students from all over Saxony faced the judgement of the expert juries at the 32nd regional Jugend musiziert competition. This year, the solo categories of piano, percussion and singing were presented. String ensembles, wind ensembles and accordion ensembles also took part.
Of the 117 participants from the Chemnitz, Erzgebirge and Central Saxony region, 50 qualified for the 2023 state competition in Zwickau.
The participants who will play in the prizewinners' concert have been selected by the juries for the individual categories.
