Until 11 April, delegations from the twin cities will be visiting Chemnitz for the town twinning conference under the motto "Town twinning in challenging times". The organisers are expecting guests from the twin cities of Düsseldorf, Ljubljana, Lodz, Manchester, Mulhouse, Tampere, Timbuktu, Usti nad Labem and Volgograd.

The Eurocities Culture Forum will also take place in Chemnitz from today until 13 April. Over 110 representatives from 59 major European cities will come together in Chemnitz for the "EUROCITIES Culture Forum".
