Press invitation: Handover of funding notification SOP for the energy neighbourhood concept for Brühl
Next Tuesday, the State Secretary in the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior, Dr Michael Wilhelm, will hand over a funding decision to increase the federal and state programme SOP Brühl-Boulevard for measures of the energy district concept in Chemnitz to Mayor Barbara Ludwig.

Together with Chemnitz University of Technology, eins energie in sachsen has drawn up an energy neighbourhood concept for Brühl, which envisages the large-scale use of renewable energies and the construction of a low-temperature district heating network, coupled with a solar thermal field to be built. The concept is being subsidised as a pilot project by the city of Chemnitz, the federal government and the Free State of Saxony. Extensive funding was applied for from the urban development programme SOP - Active Local and District Centres. This has now been approved.
State Secretary Dr Michael Wilhelm from the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior will hand over the funding decision to Mayor Barbara Ludwig. This will be accompanied by more detailed information and an exchange on the planned energy measures.
