Press festival on 13 August 2016 - festival meadow in Küchwaldpark
Traffic restrictions - local public transport is recommended
The Freie Presse press festival will take place on the festival meadow in Küchwaldpark on Saturday, 13 August 2016, from 11 am. For this reason, there will be traffic restrictions around the event location.
Closures:
It will be necessary to close several roads to through traffic in order to ensure the access and exit of the emergency services (police, rescue services and fire brigade) and local residents.
This concerns: Küchwaldring, Küchwaldstraße, Ludwigstraße and Kesselgarten as well as Dorotheen-, Altendorfer- and Glauchauer Straße. Residents will still be able to drive through.
These traffic restrictions apply
from 9 a.m. on Saturday, 13 August until 7 a.m. on Sunday, 14 August.
Public transport services:
Only a limited number of parking spaces are available at the event location. Parking spaces in the city centre and/or travel by public transport should therefore be given priority.
Line 21 will be supplemented by CVAG with additional services(special press festival timetable).
