Press event: Chemnitz selected as a model city in the Morgenstadt innovation network.
Chemnitz, together with Chemnitz University of Technology, won the competition organised by the Morgenstadt innovation network against more than 20 city applications and was selected as the Morgenstadt City Lab. The competition was organised by the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.
This makes Chemnitz part of the innovation network and gives it the opportunity to develop implementation-orientated action strategies and measures together with the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and other partners from science and industry on the basis of a comprehensive city analysis.
