Mayor Michael Stötzer and David Joram, Head of Technical Services at Chemnitzer Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft, will explain the precautionary measures that are being taken in the area of the Südring bridge over Annaberger Straße and are associated with temporary restrictions in road traffic and public transport.
As a result of the collapse of the Carola Bridge in Dresden in September 2024, bridges of the same design that were built in the former GDR era have been subjected to a special inspection in Chemnitz.
