On Tuesday, 21 April at 11.30 a.m., Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky and the City of Chemnitz's cultural department are inviting representatives of the media to a press conference on the occasion of this year's Chemnitz Museum Night. The press conference will take place in the event hall of the smac - Staatliches Museum für Archäologie Chemnitz (5th floor), Stefan-Heym-Platz 1.
In addition to Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky and Maxi Einenkel, Project Manager of Museum Night 2026 in the City of Chemnitz's cultural department, Ines Richter, representative of ZeitWerkStadt Frankenberg, and Jens Beutmann, Deputy Museum Director of smac, will provide information about the programme and highlights of this year's Museum Night. This will take place on 9 May 2026 and is entitled "Tacheles!".
