On Monday, 31 March at 11 a.m., representatives of the media are invited to a press conference on the occasion of this year's Chemnitz Museum Night at the Chemnitz Industrial Museum, Zwickauer Straße 119.
Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky, Anna Schinzel, project manager of the Chemnitz Museum Night, and Daniel Dost, project manager of "Das demokratische Chemnitz liest!", will provide information about the programme of the Museum Night in Chemnitz and the cultural region, which will take place on 10 May 2025. Representatives of the participating museums and institutions will also be available as contact persons afterwards.
The motto of this year's Museum Night is "United", which not only alludes to the fact that the museums will be united on this evening, but also refers to the motto of the European Union - United in diversity. 37 museums, collections and institutions as well as eleven galleries from the entire cultural region and Chemnitz are taking part in this year's Museum Night. The Karl Schmidt-Rottluff House is a new addition.
Advance ticket sales start on Monday, 31 March. As last year, a combined ticket allows admission to all participating institutions and is also a ticket for public transport.
