Press conference on "EUJA! Initiative projects for the Capital of Culture year"

On Tuesday, 15 October at 2 pm, representatives of the media are invited to a press conference on the citizens' programme "EUJA! Initiative Projects for the Capital of Culture Year" programme in the town hall, consultation room 118.
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze, Ferenc Csâk, Head of Cultural Operations of the City of Chemnitz, Andrea Pier, Commercial Managing Director of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH, Dr. Michael Kreuzkamp, Chairman of the Board of Sparkasse Chemnitz, and Katja Loße, authorised signatory of GGG - Grundstücks- und Gebäudewirtschafts-Gesellschaft mbH, take stock six months after the start of the programme on 1 May.
"EUJA! Initiativprojekte für das Kulturhauptstadtjahr" is a funding programme for civic engagement by the City of Chemnitz and its partners, the Kulturhauptstadt Europas Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH, Sparkasse Chemnitz and Grundstücks- und Gebäudewirtschafts-Gesellschaft mbH. Funding is available for individuals, groups and associations to realise their events and projects in the European Capital of Culture year 2025. A total of up to 430,000 euros in financial support can be distributed under the "EUJA!" citizens' programme.
