On Wednesday, 10 June, from 4 p.m. to around 5.15 p.m. (admission from 3.30 p.m.), the City of Chemnitz Equal Opportunities Officer, Franziska Herold, and the City of Chemnitz Children and Youth Officer, Dina Norberger, will award the Chemnitz School Speaker Prize "Get involved!" for the first time in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall, Markt 1.
Representatives of the media are invited to attend.
The award honours pupils who are particularly committed to their fellow pupils, respectful cooperation and an inclusive and democratic school culture. The award recognises the commitment of young people in Chemnitz and sets an example for participation, co-determination and social responsibility.
