On Friday, 7 March, the citizens' association FUER CHEMNITZ e. V. and the City of Chemnitz Migration Commissioner, Etelka Kobuß, will award the Chemnitz Peace Prize 2025 at a ceremony in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to the event.
Pupils from the Municipal Music School will provide musical accompaniment to the event. There will be a small reception after the award ceremony.
Every year, the Chemnitz Peace Prize honours people, initiatives and projects that contribute to non-violent coexistence in the city, ensure a peaceful Chemnitz and promote the coexistence of different cultures.
