Presentation of the Chemnitz Peace Prize

For the 16th time, the FUER CHEMNITZ e. V. citizens' association and the City of Chemnitz's migration officer, Etelka Kobuß, will present the Chemnitz Peace Prize at a ceremony in the city council chamber of the town hall. The award ceremony will take place on Monday, 4 March at 6 pm in the City Council Chamber of the Town Hall.
Three prizes of 500 euros, 300 euros and 200 euros will be awarded. Mayor Miko Runkel will bring greetings from the city, while pupils from the municipal music school will provide musical accompaniment to the event. The award ceremony will be followed by a small reception.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to the event.
The Chemnitz Peace Prize is intended to encourage reflection and action and support non-violent coexistence.
