Premiere of the "Marketplace Culture & School" project

Chemnitz actor takes over moderation

Searching, bidding, finding ... Artists, cultural institutions and schools will meet for the first time at the "Culture & Schools Marketplace" on 3 November 2015 from 3 to 5 pm at Kraftwerk e. V. to present project ideas to each other and find cooperation partners. The debut of the marketplace will be moderated by Michael-Paul Milow, an actor and lecturer who knows both the cultural and school scene in Chemnitz.

The hall of the Kraftwerk e. V. will become a marketplace where various cultural sectors will present themselves. Institutions from the fields of performing arts, media education, music, museums and literature as well as adult education centres, general education schools, vocational schools and special schools will be taking part.

Market visitors are invited to get actively involved and help shape the market. For example, anyone looking for ideas and design options for visual arts lessons can develop and plan projects together with artists. The plans are sketched out in "declarations of intent" and can be submitted for a grant of 500.00 euros, which serves as start-up funding for the project.
