Postponement of the Chemnitz Museum Night to 2022
Chemnitz Museum Night will be postponed until next year. Due to the corona pandemic and an uncertain implementation, the city has decided that unfortunately no Museum Night can take place in Chemnitz in 2021. The next Chemnitz Museum Night is planned for 14 May 2022 in direct proximity to International Museum Day on 18 May.
Every year since 2000, the Chemnitz Museum Nights have invited visitors to enjoy the extensive and unique programme of the city's museum and cultural landscape. In 2020 and 2021, museums, collections and other partners from the cultural region are to expand the programme for the first time. This project will now be part of next year's Museum Night.
