Possible openings of shops and facilities after Easter are in preparation
The general decree issued today by the City of Chemnitz makes it legally possible to reopen in Chemnitz - but only if the coronavirus situation allows it.
Lord Mayor Sven Schulze: "The situation in Chemnitz and Saxony remains tense and we are taking it seriously. At the same time, it is important to be prepared should openings become possible. We have now initiated this with the general decree."
The prerequisite for possible openings is a negative daily rapid test of customers and visitors as well as a strict limit on the number of visitors or customers.
Patient numbers are currently rising again across Saxony. It is therefore possible that the limit of 1,300 occupied hospital beds in the normal wards will soon be reached, meaning that the announced easing of restrictions cannot be implemented.
