Polish and Czech teachers visit Chemnitz

The EU Coordinator of the City of Chemnitz, Pia Sachs, will be receiving head teachers from schools awarding the German Language Diploma (DSD schools) from Poland and the Czech Republic in the Grüner Salon tomorrow, Tuesday 7 November at 2.30 pm. Representatives of the media are cordially invited to this event.

Pia Sachs will present the City of Chemnitz's European work to the guests and give them a guided tour of the City Hall. The guests are attending a teachers' conference organised by the German Schools Abroad and Partner Schools Support Initiative (BIDS) for head teachers of DSD schools (schools awarding the German Language Diploma) from these countries, which is taking place at Chemnitz University of Technology from 6 to 8 November.

A total of 14 guests, including five participants from the Czech Republic and five from Poland as well as four representatives of the International University Centre (IUZ) of Chemnitz University of Technology, will visit the town hall.
