Playing together without a fence
Press invitation: Children's ideas are implemented with the federal "Future Package" programme - daycare children open fence on 23 August, 9 a.m., Carl-von Ossietzky Straße 190
On Wednesday, 23 August at 9 a.m., the children of the Carl-von Ossietzky Straße 190 day care centre will open the fence that previously separated the gardens of Houses I and II so that everyone can play together. In this way, the children are realising the plans for their shared garden, which they developed themselves as part of the federal programme "Future Package for Culture, Exercise and Health". Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.
Since January, the children have been planning their garden and fence party with the educational staff and everyone has contributed ideas for joint use. These can be seen in a picture gallery on the outer fence of the centre.
On this day, the first joint "discussion" on future play, building and romping in the combined garden also took place. The results of the discussions will of course also be presented.
The federal programme "Future Package for Culture, Movement and Health" provides the children with a new retreat for their consultations: a circus wagon becomes the new mobile consultation room. It will be ready for use in a few days. The federal programme "Future Package for Culture, Exercise and Health" is thus continuing to implement the children's ideas.
The Future Package for Exercise, Culture and Health is a programme of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ). It is implemented by the Gesellschaft für soziale Unternehmensberatung (gsub) and the SPI Foundation. The German Children and Youth Foundation (DKJS) is responsible for the "Child and Youth Participation in the Future Package" part of the programme.
