Inauguration of the football pitch at Konkordiapark - kick-off 7.30 pm
On Wednesday 6 June at 5.30 p.m., residents of the Altendorf, Kaßberg and Schloßchemnitz districts are invited to the Leipziger Str. 39 community centre to find out about the new playground concept and contribute their ideas. At the penultimate of a total of eight public participation events, the Parks Department will explain which playgrounds will be maintained, renovated or even newly built and designed in the respective neighbourhoods in future. The representatives of the Chemnitz Centre-West Citizens' Platform will also take up other topics, citizens' concerns and comments on the city area.
Following the citizens' forum, the football pitch at Konkordiapark will be inaugurated. At 7.30 pm, a team from Chemnitz City Council will compete against a selection of local users. Representatives of the Chemnitz Mitte-West citizens' platform will also hand over new balls and football equipment to the future users for upcoming games and tournaments. (e.g. the "Kong Cup" district tournament on 15 June 2018, starting at 3 p.m.)
Domizil e.V. will provide a supporting programme on site with music and a barbecue bike.
