Playground planning at the zoo and Luisenplatz
The Parks Department informs and invites
The Parks Department will be discussing planning ideas for the redesign of the playground with those present at the Pelzmühle playground (entrance to the zoo) next Friday, 3 July from 3 to 4.30 pm. The facility is to be completely renovated in 2015/2016.
Next Wednesday, 8 July, there will also be a public playground planning meeting, this time on Luisenplatz: The "Stadteingang" neighbourhood management and the City of Chemnitz's green space department are inviting all interested children, their parents and grandparents to attend on site between 4 and 6 p.m. Those responsible will present initial planning options together with the commissioned planning office and the street workers working in the city area, Domizil e.V.. This facility is also due to be completely renovated in 2015/2016.
In the past, numerous requests for Luisenplatz, including the expansion of play facilities, have been submitted by users. A collection of signatures organised by mothers and the results of a survey conducted by Domizil e.V. were handed over to the Parks Department.
The neighbourhood management and the Parks Department are hoping for a high level of participation and lots of creative ideas from children and parents.
