Playground Park Schönau - building acceptance
Tomorrow morning, the supplementary construction work on the playground in Schönau Park will be accepted.
The initial work began on 26 September with the setting up of the construction site, disposal of the old fall protection gravel and the demolition of two defective pieces of play equipment.
A new double swing was installed. This piece of play equipment had previously been dismantled from another newly planned playground and had been stored at the Parks Department's building yard until now.
Initially, only the lower part of the new spring rocker could be installed. The new upper part in the form of a motorbike will be delivered at the end of October and installed by the staff of the Parks Department.
New fall protection gravel was also laid. The corners of the gravelled area have been raised by newly installed wooden sleepers, making them more inviting to sit on.
The construction costs totalled approx. 8,500 euros. The work was carried out by the construction company Baumschule Hohenstein-Ernstthal GmbH.
