Playground invites you to let off steam again
The facility at the large pond in the city park has been renovated
The playground by the large pond in the city park has been completed and is now once again available for three to twelve-year-old children to slide, climb, swing and balance. The facility had been extensively renovated and redesigned since September 2022 due to its age and wear and tear, without interfering with the tried-and-tested basic shape of the playground.
In addition to the landscaping work awarded to the company Grünland GmbH, a play equipment competition was organised in order to obtain individual offers for the play equipment that were appropriate to the surroundings.
The winning design by Attash, which has now been realised, envisages a natural wooden construction that is oriented towards the existing facility and blends in well with the landscape. The fact that so-called "beetle wood" was used is well known and was also taken into account in the price. The current absence of pests and the stability of the timber were once again confirmed by an expert.
In total, the costs for landscaping and play equipment amount to approx. 173,000 euros.
