Playground equipment at the playground in Euba
The play equipment installed in 1995 on the playground in Euba at the sports field has far exceeded its intended useful life, it is worn out and no longer safe to play on. Demolition work is therefore planned for the first and second calendar week of 2016. New equipment has already been ordered.
The playground concept for 2025 (draft resolution B-114/2014) proposed a change of operator for the playground from 2017. A new operator has not yet been found. As the playground still plays an important role for Euba, new, albeit simpler, equipment will be installed in consultation with the local council.
Delivery of this equipment is scheduled for January 2016. Installation will take place depending on the weather.
The playground will remain cordoned off until the new play equipment, a "Fillinchen" climbing combination with a slide, various climbing options and a triple swing with a toddler seat, has been installed. The Parks Department asks for your understanding.
