The new play equipment on the Am Wall green spaces is now available for use. The Am Wall play equipment consists of two coloured seating and balancing elements entitled "Wandering Line" and a turntable.
The new play equipment on the Am Roten Turm green spaces will probably not be released for use until the 18th calendar week so that the grass can still grow in. This play equipment consists of a slackline and two rotating elements in the shape of a leaf and a flower.
The costs totalled around 35,000 euros for the landscaping and play equipment. The measure was implemented on the basis of a corresponding city council resolution to upgrade the city centre.
The construction work was carried out by Reino GmbH from Geithain. The play equipment was manufactured and supplied by the companies "Kinderland Emsland Spielgeräte", Geeste, and "Stilum", Kleinmaischeid. Construction is being supervised by the Parks Department.
