Planned tree care work in the first quarter of 2013
The ongoing tree inspections and the results of the current expert report have shown that tree maintenance work (pruning and felling) must be carried out on the trees on the attached list for reasons of road safety. The felling work will be carried out by 28 February 2013.
Without exception, all the work to be carried out is urgent and serves to maintain or establish road safety. All tree maintenance measures in the sense of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under §39 BNatSchG or §25 SächsNatSchg. Please refer to the attached list for detailed information on the reasons for the necessary tree maintenance work and tree felling.
Wherever space permits, the Parks Department will arrange for the trees to be replanted.
