Place of mourning provided with memorial plaque
This Thursday morning, in agreement with and at the request of the family, a memorial plaque was placed in the pavement on Brückenstraße at the spot where Daniel H. from Chemnitz was the victim of a crime in August.
On Wednesday evening, friends of the deceased had previously cleared the place of mourning, where flowers and candles had been placed for weeks. Daniel H.'s family has asked that after the memorial plaque has been placed, nothing more be left at the site and that it be respected that the family can mourn in private. The City of Chemnitz will clear the site in future in accordance with this request.
