Picnic in the Küchwald
Event on the Day of Child Day Care on Wednesday, 4 May
Tomorrow, Wednesday 4 May, from 4 to 6 p.m., Children and Youth Officer Ute Spindler, together with Kindertagespflege Chemnitz e.V. and AG Gesundes Chemnitz with partner AOK PLUS, is inviting all Chemnitz families to a picnic in the Küchwald forest.
Anyone interested can set off with a blanket, a small snack and toys. There will be craft and play activities for the children on site. Further ideas for games are welcome. This way, all participants can contribute to a variety of games.
In addition to the childminders of the city of Chemnitz and the association Kindertagespflege Chemnitz e.V., the riot police will be there with a patrol car and emergency vehicle, as well as ASB Chemnitz with an ambulance. The cowboys and Indians from "Old Miners Creek - Die Westernstadt im Erzgebirge" will also be stopping by with a craft street.
The family picnic in front of the Küchwaldschänke in Küchwald is part of the day of childcare, on which many activities are planned for young and old. In the morning from 9.30 to 10.30 a.m., there will be an opportunity to look over the shoulders of childminders in Nord-Park.
The activities are part of the state-wide campaign week for child day care in Saxony, which takes place from 2 to 7 May. In child day care, up to five children are looked after by a childminder (childminder).
