Peter Sloterdijk as guest at adult education centre
Readings on 17 and 18 November, both at 7 pm at TIETZ
The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to readings with Peter Sloterdijk on 17 and 18 November at 7 p.m. in the TIETZ event hall - as a catch-up date for the reading that was cancelled in March of this year. Admission is free of charge.
On both evenings, Peter Sloterdijk will read from his book "Neue Zeiten und Tage: Notes on the Present". Sloterdijk, who is known to many from the ZDF programme "Das philosophische Quartett", is one of the most renowned philosophers and essayists in Germany. As recently as January 2019, he was named the most important intellectual in the German-speaking world by the magazine "Cicero".
The reading marks the end of the vision series "In which society do we want to live?" and also the anniversary year of the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.
Registration is essential due to the limited number of places available.
