Peace pictures are installed at the town hall

For the Chemnitz Peace Day on 5 March, peace pictures designed by Chemnitz schoolchildren will once again be on display at the town hall. This year, Aktion C was able to inspire over 40 schools and day-care centres for this colourful series of pictures. Several hundred metres of colourful paintings have been created, displaying this year's motto: "It's our city, colourful, cosmopolitan and tolerant".
Next Monday, these oversized canvases will be installed at Chemnitz Town Hall in the presence of organiser Gerald Richter. The installation will take place between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on the side of the town hall facing Neumarkt. Gerald Richter will be available to answer questions at 11am. The meeting point for media representatives is in front of the main entrance to Chemnitz Town Hall on Neumarkt.
