Pavement renovation on Kochstrasse
Information from the traffic authority on the changes to traffic routing required during the construction work
The carriageway on Kochstraße between Weststraße and Bodelschwinghstraße/Waldenburger Straße is being resurfaced, making it necessary to change the traffic routing with a full road closure (roadworks information dated 06/09/2012).
The complete road structure with asphalt base course, binder course and asphalt surface course will be renewed by 22 September. At the same time, the footpath on the undeveloped side of the road will be renewed.
Chemnitzer Verkehrsbau GmbH was commissioned with the realisation.
The construction costs amount to approx. 84,000 euros.
Information from the traffic authority: Road users are asked to understand and observe the temporary changes to the traffic routing and full road closure necessitated by the construction work. Traffic will be diverted in both directions via Schiersandstraße / Bodelschwinghstraße.
Pedestrians can cross the road at the junctions. Passengers using local public transport should note the temporary replacement stops that have been set up in Bodelschwinghstraße.
