Pavement renovation on Chemnitzer Straße in the Grüna district
On Monday, the civil engineering department will begin a three-week road construction project on Chemnitzer Straße in the Grüna district. The road surface will be repaired in the section between August-Bebel-Straße and Fabrikstraße. The construction work will repair winter damage. The work should be completed by 19 October.
The construction costs amount to 94,000 euros. The company Dietmar Mothes GmbH from Chemnitz was commissioned with the realisation of the construction work.
Note from the traffic authority: For the duration of the work, Chemnitzer Straße will have to be closed on one side in sections. Traffic will be regulated by construction site traffic lights.
