Pavement renewal on Wildparkstrasse in Röhrsdorf
Section between Leipziger Straße and Röhrsdorfer Allee junction - barrier-free extension of the Querstraße stop
From Monday, 4 September, the carriageway of Wildparkstraße from Leipziger Straße to the Röhrsdorfer Allee junction, including the extended junction area, will be renewed. Wildparkstraße is located in the Röhrsdorf district of Chemnitz and provides access to the "Chemnitz-Park" business park.
In addition, the "Querstraße" bus stop is to be made barrier-free. This stop will be cancelled during the construction work.
Wildparkstraße will be fully closed for the construction work and Röhrsdorfer Allee will be closed on one side. Construction traffic lights will regulate traffic here.
A diversion will be set up for Wildparkstraße via Röhrsdorfer Allee, Nordstraße and Leipziger Straße.
The work is expected to last until 20 October and will be carried out in two construction phases. In the first construction phase, the carriageway of Wildparkstraße between Leipziger Straße and Querstraße as well as the eastern half of the Wildparkstraße/Röhrsdorfer Allee junction will be renewed. In the second construction phase, the carriageway of Wildparkstraße between Querstraße and Röhrsdorfer Allee will be renewed.
During the construction work, restrictions for neighbouring residents will be kept to a minimum. Access to the properties and traders will be made possible during the construction work via temporary solutions. If other access and parking options are available, these should be used during the construction period.
Due to the full closure, the construction company will take residents' rubbish bins to the site boundary on the respective collection dates each week and then back to the properties after they have been emptied.
The construction work will cost around 440,000 euros. The company Arlt Bauunternehmen GmbH, Frohburg, was commissioned to carry out the construction work.
