Pavement renewal on Kleinolbersdorfer Straße
In the section between Walter-Janka-Straße and Adelsbergstraße
From 7 October to probably 8 November 2019, Kleinolbersdorfer Straße between Walter-Janka-Straße and Adelsbergstraße will be renewed.
Kleinolbersdorfer Straße will be fully closed in the affected area.
The diversion will be via Georgistraße - Adelsbergstraße or via Hermersdorfer Straße - Zschopauer Straße - Wilhelm-Busch-Straße.
Due to the poor structural condition, the old concrete carriageway must be replaced with a new asphalt carriageway. The kerbs and the pavement on one side will also be renewed. The traffic areas will be restored in their previous form and position.
The City of Chemnitz will spend a total of around 250,000 euros on the project. The company Eiffage Infra Ost GmbH, Drebach, was commissioned to carry out the work.
