Pavement construction in the Röhrsdorf district of Chemnitz
The work planned by the civil engineering department to renew the pavement on Chemnitzer Straße in the Röhrsdorf district will begin next week. As announced in the latest construction site information, the pavement on the city side of Chemnitzer Straße between Am Strauchhof and Am Pleißenbach will be built over a length of approx. 150 metres. The work will begin on Tuesday, 1 July and should be completed by 18 July. As part of the construction work, the bus stop located in the construction area will also be made accessible to the disabled.
Around 17,000 euros will be invested in the construction work. The Chemnitz-based company Gunter Hüttner has been commissioned with the realisation.
Note from the city's traffic authority: During the construction work, Chemnitzer Straße will be closed on one side in the construction area and traffic will be regulated by traffic lights.
