Participation of people with disabilities
Invitation to online participation from 9 September and to the panel discussion on 12 September
How can the participation of people with disabilities in Chemnitz be further improved? How can barriers be removed? What measures have already been developed?
These questions are the focus of the "Chemnitz inclusive 2030" action week from 9 to 13 September 2019.
From 9 September , discussions can also be held online at www.LSNQ.de/chemnitzinklusiv2030: Are there enough barrier-free flats in Chemnitz? Is access to the workplace possible without steps? What wishes do residents have for their neighbourhood? People with and without disabilities, representatives of city politics and city administration as well as stakeholders in urban society who are committed to the participation of people with various disabilities are invited to take part in the debate.
(The online participation runs until 25 September.)
On 12 September 2019, 18:30, interested parties are invited to a panel discussion entitled "Inclusive working and living in the neighbourhood" at the creative café "All in", Rosenhof 14, on needs and wishes as well as ways to further improve life in Chemnitz.
