Partial repair of wooden walkway at the building at Lohrstraße 42
Start of timber construction work on Monday, 18 March
On Monday, 18 March, work will begin on the partial repair of the wooden walkway at the building at Lohrstraße 42 with the replacement of the wooden planks.
The oak planks and, where necessary, the supporting beam will be replaced. After approx. 50 square metres were already replaced in 2016 due to severe rotting, the remaining surface area of approx. 75 square metres will now be renovated.
The wooden walkway is expected to be closed until mid-April. A short diversions around the construction site is possible. The work should be completed by 18 April.
The costs will total around 20,000 euros. The work will be carried out by the construction company Jens Knauth, master carpenter and state-certified restorer, Chemnitz.
