Book presentation and discussion on the social responsibility of football
The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to the book presentation "Gesellschaftsspielchen" (by Ronny Blaschke) on Wednesday, 11 October 2017, from 7 to 9 pm, followed by a discussion in the event hall, TIETZ. Admission is free.
Since the 2006 Football World Cup, a social network has increasingly been spun around football in Germany. National players are setting up foundations, Bundesliga clubs are establishing social departments, fans are getting involved in youth work. Is this sustainable commitment or just a fancy label?
Berlin-based author Ronny Blaschke aims to provide guidance in his new book "Gesellschaftsspielchen". How can football enrich the community? For diversity and a wealth of movement. Against discrimination and manipulation.
The aim of the event is to network committed people from the region and publicise their ideas.
This event is a co-operation between the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Saxony and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.
